Meridian Homes was founded by Brian Aucoin in October 2003. Brian has been renovating homes since 1996. He has renovated over 80 homes in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area in subdivisions such as University Club and River Highlands, as well as numerous others. He is currently involved in the restoration of historic homes in Uptown New Orleans. These projects focus on preserving the Greek Revival style while adding a twist of the contemporary.
In addition to renovations, in 2004, Brian began building homes. He started with 27 new construction personal rentals as well as many speculative homes. Since 2006 he has focused on building large custom homes in subdivisions such as Pelican Point, Settlement at Lakeside, Pelican Crossing, Plantation Estates, Audubon Square and now, Long Farm.
