Russell Mosely is the developer of Long Farm Village, a 237-acre traditional neighborhood development which is planned to consist of more than 1,000 housing units. The developments include detached single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and multi-family units, as well as approximately 600,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and office developments. Russell also owns Mosely Law Firm, L.L.C. He is a current board member of the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition (former Board President), the Capital Area Finance Authority, the YMCA and the Louisiana Political Museum and Hall of Fame. He has previously served on the boards of the Baton Rouge Food Bank (former Chairman), the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System (former Vice Chairman and Parliamentarian) and the Louisiana Arts and Sciences Museum.
No matter which hat he is wearing, his goal and vision is simple – to make Long Farm Village a premier Baton Rouge neighborhood destination where residents can live, work, shop, play, dine and relax. Mosely obtained his law degree from the LSU Law Center. Prior to forming Mosely Law Firm, he practiced law as a clerk for U.S. District Judge Frank J. Polozola and as an attorney for Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, L.L.P.
